Cindy Spindoctor

Whats the most disturbing to me is that Cindy Sheehan can blatently misrepresent the facts. She's met with Bush before. Now she's "asking" him to come talk to her in front of his house? The story plays out that he's ignoring her when the truth is she's alreadly gotten what she's asking for.

The truth is Cindy Sheehan doesn't want to simply meet with the President, she's already done that. She wants to use the perception that he's ignoring her to influence the press and public to turn against him. Its a flat out lie to have tv spots claiming that Bush is ducking her. Cindy Sheehan is manipulating the press and using other grieving mother's to put forth her own political agenda.

Cindy Sheehan's actions should be offensive to most of the country. Using the pain of many mother's and the national sympathy to any family who has lost a love one, to prop up her own political campaign against Bush is not honorable.

Bush has only met with families of 297 soliders that have been killed. Reports have that over 1800 U.S. service personnel have died in Iraq. Bush has only been able to meet with roughly 16% of these families. If Cindy Sheehan were truly noble she's ask the President not too meet with her, but to meet with more families. Why should Cindy Sheehan get a second meeting when there are 1502 families that haven't even met with Bush yet? At the very best Sheehan should be 1503rd in line.

His opponents call Bush a liar for claiming there were WMDs and we've found none.

When are they going to call Cindy Sheehan a liar for claiming all she wants is meeting, when she's already had one?

We're asking for it.

If people like Pat Robertson are allowed to continue to spew hatred and false dogma, the Christian faith is doomed to become the home of radicals who prey on humanity. Please in the name of all that is good and holy, someone force Robertson to go resign. I'm sure that there is an audience for his misguided, flawed version of Christianity, I just don't think they have TV.

Hark a voice heckling in the wilderness...

In the past two years Jon Stewart has become the de facto voice of a generation. He has become arguably more relevant than either Jay Leno or David Letterman. He possibly the most influential voice on TV. Each generation has its master observer, and reporter. It is fitting that for the younger jaded generation, that their voice be filled with sarcasim.
